Alex is the Operations Manager at SG Credit Partners, Inc. (‘SGCP”) and is responsible for overseeing all systems and processes to help monitor and improve the firm’s financial and operational performance. Alex joined Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”) in 2014 and is based in the Newport Beach office.
Additionally, Alex supports the credit and the underwriting team focusing on originations, underwriting, deal execution, and portfolio management. Alex continues to assist the team by researching leading enterprise technologies and formulating alternative methods to increase operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Super G in 2014, Alex helped manage his family business for over 7 years.
Chief Investment Officer
Andrew Hettinger is the Chief Investment Officer of SG Credit Partners, Inc (“SGCP”). He joined the SGCP team in September 2019 and is based in the Atlanta office.
Prior to SGCP, Andrew was a Senior Managing Director of Crystal Financial and was responsible for originating and structuring new investments. Andrew has over 20 years of experience working with middle-market companies as a cash flow lender, asset-based lender, and an investment banker. Prior to joining Crystal, Andrew was a Managing Director of Cerberus Capital Management and was responsible for originating and managing new debt investments. Prior to Cerberus, he was a Director with Houlihan, Lokey, Howard and Zukin and was responsible for providing private placement, mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring advisory services. Prior to Houlihan, he served as a Senior Vice President of Deutsche Bank and was responsible for originating and structuring senior and mezzanine loans to private equity groups and middle-market companies.
Andrew began his career with Bank of America and served 10 years as a commercial lender and asset-based lender in the Southeast and Northeast markets. Andrew received a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University.
Andrew is an associate at SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”) and is responsible for originations, underwriting, deal execution and portfolio management. Andrew joined SGCP in 2018 and is based in the Santa Monica office.
Prior to joining Super G, Andrew was an Analyst at ECHELON Partners, an investment bank focused on providing advisory services for financial institutions and FinTech companies. During his time with ECHELON, Andrew supported the deal team by conducting financial analysis, developing client materials and executing transactions.
Prior to ECHELON Partners, Andrew worked as a Financial Analyst at Riptide IO, an energy management software startup, that specializes in commercial energy solutions and data analytics. During his time with Riptide, Andrew developed variable product pricing models, project profitability models and assembled investor presentations.
Andrew earned a B.A. in Economics and a sequence in Finance from Claremont McKenna College. Andrew has passed all three levels of the CFA Program.
Senior Vice President
Carlos is a Senior Vice President of SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”) responsible for originations, deal execution, and portfolio management. Carlos joined SGCP in October 2019 and is based in the Atlanta office.
Prior to SGCP, Carlos was a Vice President at AloStar Capital Finance (“AloStar”), a division of Cadence Bank, N.A., where he structured, underwrote, closed, and managed direct and syndicated loans to lower middle market companies. Carlos’ transactions were primarily comprised of senior secured asset based revolving credit facilities and senior secured term loans.
Before AloStar, Carlos was a Senior Analyst at Chatham Capital, a lower middle market cash flow lender, where he underwrote, closed, and managed direct and syndicated first or second lien cash flow loans.
Prior to Chatham Capital, Carlos was a Senior Valuation Consultant at Adams Capital, Inc., an independent business and asset valuation firm. Carlos’ engagements included business valuations, purchase price allocations, and goodwill impairment testing.
Carlos began his career as a consultant at Manhattan Associates, Inc. (“Manhattan”), a publicly traded supply chain technology and consulting firm. At Manhattan, Carlos designed, tested, and implemented supply chain systems for small cap, large cap, and mega cap companies, as well as the United States government.
Carlos earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Head of Originations
Charlie is the Co-Founder and Head of Originations of SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”). In 2018, Charlie and Marc Cole led the spin out of Super G Capital’s cash flow, technology, and special situations division to form SGCP.
Charlie joined Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”) in 2014 to start the cash flow lending division. While there, he established Super G as a market leader in lower middle market second lien, built a deal team from ground up with national reach and generated approximately $150 million in originations.
Prior to Super G, Charlie Co-Founded Intermix Capital Partners, LLC, an investment and advisory firm focused on providing capital to small-to-medium sized businesses. At Intermix, Perer spent significant time sourcing and executing transactions and building relationships within the branded consumer, specialty finance and business services industries.
Charlie began his career at Oppenheimer & Co. (acquired by CIBC World Markets) where he was a member of the Media Investment Banking Group.
Charlie graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University.
Chris is a Managing director at Super G and is responsible for originating and structuring transactions across all loans products and corporate development initiatives. He is based in our Boston office.
Chris has more than 19 years of experience in the capital markets providing asset-based lending, operational and financial restructuring and advisory services to clients across a number of industries. Prior to joining Super G, Chris was a Director with the Commercial and Industrial group at Gordon Brothers where he was responsible for business development, deal analysis and structuring, financial management, and ongoing deal operations. Prior to that he was with G2 Capital Advisors, a middle market investment bank, ‘where he specialized in providing sell-side, buy-side, operational and financial restructuring, and capital raising advisory services. Chris has also worked with TD Bank’s asset-based lending division, NewStar Financial middle market cashflow lending group and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in their Global Leverage Finance and Securitization practice.
Chris received his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He currently resides in Weston, Ma.

Dan is an Analyst at SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SCGP”) and is responsible for originations, deal execution, and portfolio management. Dan joined SGCP in 2019 and is based in the Santa Monica office.
Prior to SGCP, Dan was a Credit Analyst at American Business Bank, a Los Angeles based commercial bank that serves privately held, middle-market companies. During his time with American Business Bank, Dan assisted the deal team by conducting credit analysis and portfolio management.
Dan began his career as an intern at American Business Bank in the International department, where he facilitated foreign currency exchange transactions, international wire payments, and documentary collections.
Dan graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, San Bernardino, where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Dan is a CFA level 2 candidate.
Darrin is the Founder and CEO of Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”), the predecessor firm to SGCP, and is responsible for overall strategy and leadership of the firm. In 2008, Darrin began his lending career with the founding of Super G. Since that time, Darrin has grown the firm from his personal lending vehicle to the market leader in residual loans to a variety of industries including merchant services, ATM, insurance brokers and software as a service (SaaS) providers. Super G is the most active lender in the industry, having completed in excess of 500 transactions.
Darrin is a financial services pioneer and the founder of numerous successful payments companies and alternative lending businesses. He started his career building merchant acquiring sales organizations; Darrin developed, ran and sold three large merchant acquirers to private equity backed roll-ups. A former Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, Darrin’s sales organizations have provided payment processing to over 100,000 small businesses.
Gerardo is an Analyst at SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SCGP”) and is responsible for originations, deal execution, and portfolio management. Gerardo joined Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”) in 2018 and is based in their Santa Monica office.
Prior to Super G, Gerardo was a Business Management Associate at Moss Adams LLP, an accounting and financial services firm serving public and private middle-market companies, and was responsible for managing ultra-high-net-worth individuals’ estates by providing a variety of financial services including tax advisory, accounting, and other wealth management services.
Gerardo began his career at Super G, as an intern where he helped spearhead the cash flow division’s marketing efforts.
Gerardo graduated with honors from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), where he earned a B.A. in Economics.
Jeff Brown is the CEO and founding member of Brown Equity Partners, LLC (“BEP”). BEP provides capital to management teams and companies needing equity of $5 million to $30 million. BEP’s capital partners are affiliates of Edward P. Bass in Fort Worth, Texas, whom Jeff has been investing with for over 20 years. Prior to BEP, Jeff was a founding partner of the venture capital and private equity firm Forrest Binkley & Brown and a senior vice president of both Bank America Venture Capital Group and Security Pacific Capital Corporation. Jeff also worked at Morgan Stanley & Co. and Hughes Aircraft Company.
In his 29 years of venture capital and private equity experience, serving on both public and private Boards of Directors, Jeff has chaired the Audit, Compensation, Finance, and Special Committees of these organizations. Jeff directly invests and actively manages investments in residential, commercial, industrial and retail real estate properties in Southern California.
Jeff received an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Mathematics from Willamette University.
Jessica is a Relationship Manager for SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”) and is responsible for credit underwriting, deal execution, client relationship management, and portfolio management. Jessica joined Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”) in 2017 and is based in the Portland office.
Prior to Super G, Jessica was a Relationship Manager at Novus Capital Group, LLC, a specialty finance company providing venture debt to companies primarily in the technology sector. At Novus, Jessica was responsible for credit underwriting, documentation, deal execution, client relationship management, marketing, and operations management.
Prior to Novus, Jessica was an Analyst at Vencore Capital, LLC, a venture debt company providing financing to emerging growth companies. While at Vencore, Jessica was responsible for financial analysis, credit risk monitoring, portfolio management, and management and board reporting.
Jessica holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Portland and a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute.
John is a Managing Director at SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP) and President of Technology Lending, responsible for leading originations, credit underwriting guidelines, and portfolio management. John is based in the Portland office.
John joined Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”) in 2017 upon the acquisition of Novus Capital Group. Novus Capital Group was founded by John in 2013, a Specialty Finance Company serving emerging growth technology companies across the United States.
With 25 years’ experience in the Specialty Finance Lending Industry, John has served in roles as CFO, COO, and the past 10 years as Chairman and CEO of two Venture Debt finance companies providing loans to thousands of emerging growth companies totaling $400M in originations. John has raised capital from private equity, hedge funds, family offices and obtained financing commitments from over 30 commercial banks totaling $700M.
John earned his B.S. in Finance and Management from the University of Oregon and also earned a Post-Baccalaureate Degree.
John Todd (“JT”) is a Managing Director at SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”) and is responsible for originating and structuring loans across SG Credit’s entire platform. JT joined February 2020 to open the Chicago office and cover the Midwest market.
Prior to SGCP, JT was a Director of Business Development at AloStar Capital Finance and was responsible for originating and structuring asset-based and specialty finance loans. Prior to AloStar, JT was a Business Development Officer for First Capital. Prior to First Capital, he was a Senior Investment Officer with CapitalSource, where he was responsible for sourcing, assessing, and negotiating the purchase of middle market loans in the primary and secondary markets. Prior to CapitalSource, JT was a Director with JP Morgan where he was responsible for sourcing and structuring ABL and D.I.P. loans for middle market companies. Prior to that, JT was an Underwriter and Business Development Officer at Wells Fargo Capital Finance.
JT began his career at Congress Financial as a collateral auditor and has more than 20 years of asset-based and specialty lending experience. JT received a B.S. in Accounting from Michigan State University.
Jon is the COO of Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”) and manages the sales force and oversees the loan process from underwriting to funding.
Jon is a financial services executive and entrepreneur with two decades of experience in sales, business development and underwriting. Jon began working with Darrin Ginsberg in 1994 in direct marketing and continued together to become President of eCommerce Exchange, where they were responsible for originating and underwriting over 50,000 small business clients. Prior to Super G, Jon was Co-Founder of Secure A Quote, an Internet lead generation company specialized in insurance and financial services marketing.
J.T. is the Managing Partner for 4612 Group, LLC where he is responsible for leading the firms direct investment activity. He also serves as Chief Investment Officer for Nonami, LLC the single family office of the Cousins Family in Atlanta, Ga. At Nonami, he is responsible for the foundation and family investment portfolios, encompassing all aspects of investment selection and performance.
Prior to joining Nonami in 2010, J.T. founded and managed a Julian Robertson backed credit hedge fund. Before that, he was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse focused on leveraged finance and M&A advisory.
J.T. is a board member for Swift Straw and SG Credit and a board observer for Ark Naturals.
He has a BS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead Scholar.
Senior Credit Advisor
Lon Brown is currently advising specialty finance companies in the areas of credit underwriting, portfolio management and general corporate strategy. He retired in 2018 after 12 years as a Managing Director of Bracken Capital, f/k/a ColumbusNova MB (“CNMB”). At CNMB, Lon’s primary duties were likewise credit underwriting and portfolio management within the Company’s middle market net lease investment program. He also spearheaded efforts with respect to specialty finance company investment, along with the management of affiliate company loan portfolios. Prior to joining CNMB, Lon was a Managing Director of Hampshire Advisory Partners, an affiliate of Hampshire Equity Partners, a NY-based private equity firm. As part of his role with Hampshire Advisors, Lon was charged with developing the Southeast as a market for private equity transaction sourcing. Prior to joining Hampshire, Lon was a Managing Director with Patriarch Partners, an asset manager focused on the acquisition, securitization and value enhancement of distressed debt. Prior to Patriarch, he spent 15 years with Bank of America and its predecessors, with his final title being that of Managing Director in the Global Corporate Investment Bank’s Special Asset Group.
Lon has served on the Boards of Directors of Transcription Relief Services, LLC a North Carolina-based medical transcription services provider and Galey and Lord, Inc., a market leader in woven sportswear and denim fabrics. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he was a Fuqua Scholar and Fuqua Fellow.
Mack McNair is the Chairman of SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”) and is the CEO of MidMark Financial Group, Inc. (“MidMark”), an investment firm focused on buying and building specialty finance businesses and investing in special situations involving unique structured credit/equity transactions.
Mack has over twenty years of experience in the private credit markets and special situations investing. Prior to joining SGCP and creating MidMark, Mack was a founding partner at Virgo Investment Group, an opportunistic value oriented private investment fund with flexibility to invest up and down the capital structure . Prior to Virgo, Mack was responsible for investment activities ranging from senior debt through equity for the Principal Finance Group at Silver Point Capital, where he worked with several Virgo team members. At Silver Point, Mack led the private-side investing business for the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions and focused on financial services and investment themes. Prior to joining Silver Point, he was a Senior Managing Director at CIT, leading the firm’s national Special Situations coverage team. Mack previously worked in Wachovia’s Corporate Banking Group, where he originated, underwrote and managed middle-market bank debt and related products.
Mack earned his BS in finance from Florida State University and is a Board Member of the Atlanta chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
Marc is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”) and a member of the Loan Committee. In 2018, Marc and Charlie Perer led the spin out of Super G Capital’s cash flow, technology, and special situations division to form SGCP.
Marc is a Director and Co-Founder of Bluefin Payment Systems. After completing a roll-up in merchant services, he partnered with payments entrepreneur Darrin Ginsberg, the Founder and CEO of Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”). As Chief Credit Officer and CFO of Super G, Marc oversaw its diversification into cash flow lending and raised in excess of $100 million of institutional capital.
Prior to Super G, Marc was a Partner in a family office responsible for managing direct equity investments and a mezzanine loan portfolio of more than two dozen positions. Earlier positions include: Vice President of Mellon Ventures, a $1.4BN private equity partnership and Corporate Finance Analyst at Legg Mason.
Marc graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Pennsylvania State University.
Mark Oligschlaeger is a Managing Director of The Cynosure Group. Prior to joining Cynosure, Mr. Oligschlaeger was the founder and President of Eider Capital, an opportunistic real estate credit fund.
He previously served as President and COO of the Buckner Company, a leading regional property and casualty insurance agency, and in senior leadership and asset management roles at Leucadia National Corporation (now Jefferies, NYSE: JEF). While at Leucadia, Mr. Oligschlaeger had operating and M&A responsibilities for several of the firm’s investments in insurance, telecommunications, and financial services, and he also led the development of the firm’s real estate portfolio in Utah, Colorado, and Florida. Earlier in his career, Mr. Oligschlaeger was a consultant for APM/CSC Healthcare.
Mr. Oligschlaeger serves as a Director of SG Credit Partners, Gold Medal Pools, Med One Group and GoReact. He received an MBA from Brigham Young University, where he was a Hawes Scholar, and a B.S. in Business Management from BYU, where he was a James S. Kemper Scholar.
Nick is a Principal of SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”), responsible for originations, deal execution, and portfolio management. Based in the Santa Monica office, Nick also manages SGCP’s day-to-day operations.
Nick joined Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”) in 2015 as the cash flow lending division’s first hire. While there, he helped establish Super G as a market leader in lower middle market second lien lending and helped build a deal team to execute over $150 million in originations.
Prior to Super G, Nick was a Senior Loan Administrator at First Republic Bank, facilitating the loan structuring and closing process between business development officers, underwriting, credit committee and legal to ensure timely fundings for a variety of loan products. Nick began his career at US Capital Partners, an investment bank for lower middle-market companies and was responsible for deal structuring, management, and execution, operations and capital markets. At US Capital, Nick managed a robust pipeline of deals, structuring and placing senior and subordinate credit facilities for clients across a variety of industries.
Nick graduated with high honors from the University of California Davis, where he earned a B.S. in Managerial Economics.
Oren is a Principal of SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”), responsible for originations, deal execution, and portfolio management. Oren joined Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”) in January 2017 and is based in the Santa Monica office.
Prior to Super G, Oren was an Associate at Medley Capital, a $4BN asset management firm focused on direct lending to middle market companies. As a member of Medley’s deal team, Oren was responsible for underwriting new deals and structuring loans which included senior secured first lien loans and senior secured second lien loans. Prior to Medley, Oren worked at RFE Investment Partners, a middle market private equity firm which makes control equity investments in niche manufacturing, specialty consumer products and business service industries. Oren began his career at HSBC where he was a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions group based in New York City.
Oren graduated Cum Laude from Indiana University, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.
Spencer is a Principal of SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”), responsible for originations, deal execution, and portfolio management. Spencer joined Super G Capital, LLC (“Super G”) in May 2017 and is based in the Newport Beach office.
Prior to Super G, Spencer was an Associate at FirstBank Holding Company (“FirstBank”) primarily focused on underwriting in the retail and commercial lending divisions. FirstBank is a privately-held regional bank in Colorado with over $18BN in assets. Spencer began his career at Noodles & Company (NASDAQ: NDLS) corporate headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado.
Spencer earned both a B.A. and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
