Doug is the Controller at SG Credit Partners, Inc. (“SGCP”) and is responsible for overseeing the Accounting team for financial records and reporting, cash management, risk management, and coordinating exams and reporting with outside auditors and municipal government authorities.  Doug joined SGCP in May 2020 and is based in the Tempe Arizona office. 

Doug has more than 20 years of experience in both public accounting and private industry managing financial reporting, tax preparation, and business planning.  Prior to joining SGCP, Doug spent 10 years as a Tax Manager at Mauldin CPA’s, PLLC where he handled 230+ individual and business clients with financial reporting, tax planning, and tax preparation.  Prior to that, Doug worked at a real estate developer, small construction company, a local community bank as the AVP of commercial lending, as well as a staff accountant at a public accounting firm which formed the Arizona branch of what is now known as CliftonLarsonAllen.

Doug received his BS in Business Finance from Olivet Nazarene University and Post-Baccalaureate studies in accounting at Arizona State University.
